The Pierce County Parent & Family Engagement website provides information and resources to assist families with helping their children increase their academic achievement. This webpage also provides families with Title I information and upcoming family engagement events.  Blackshear Elementary School is a Title I school. Families are invited to provide suggestions and ideas to improve our Title I programs and plans. Click on our Title I link below to learn more about Title I and access a stakeholder feedback form to share your ideas.

We encourage parents to visit the BES Parent Resource Room located in the media center.  You may check out books, study materials, and games/activities for use at home with your child.  These materials are free for your use. 
The room is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
and Friday from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm.
